Prayer Summit Open To Public
COATESVILLE, PA, December 21, 2017 – Chester County Women’s Services (CCWS), your local crisis pregnancy medical center, is moving their West Chester center to 139 W. Market Street on January 2nd, 2018.
This move comes in an effort to bring more awareness to the services that CCWS offers women and families in the Chester County community. “By positioning CCWS in the heart of West Chester, our footprint will be more visible,” stated Executive Director, Myriam Ruager. “We are also closer to the abortion facilities, providing a greater opportunity to meet with people in crisis and share with them the hope and options that are available as an alternative to abortion.”
On Saturday, January 13, 2018 all three Chester County Women’s Services centers will be hosting a Sanctity of Human Life Prayer Summit from 9:30 am – 11am. This event is open to the public. Guests are invited to stop by any of the three centers (no reservation required) in which time will be spent praying for the clients and all who serve at CCWS, the nation, the unborn, and for the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ to heal and change lives in those whom are served.
“Please join us for a time of corporate worship, in which we will bless our new West Chester center and thank God for all the good He has done and is going to do there. We need the support of our community to continue to forge ahead in our mission of educating and empowering women and their families to make life-affirming choices.”
Just last year, CCWS served 582 women and families with medical appointments. These services include pregnancy tests, limited-ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins and proof of pregnancy. 834 families were assisted in the form of educational visits, including abortion facts and alternatives, sexual integrity information, adoption guidance, and parenting and discipline support. CCWS also assists with community referrals and client-earned material assistance.
CCWS is a Pregnancy Care Medical Center that exists to educate and empower individuals and their families to make life-affirming choices. All services are 100% free and offered in both English and Spanish. Families are supported physically, emotionally, and financially through basic pregnancy care, parenting education, peer counseling, a homeless prevention program and community referrals. Offices are located in Coatesville, Kennett Square, and West Chester.
